My theory is that the black mist is a bad creature that’s targeting Mizzi and Spidey Boy definitely knows it
You just WAIT til your aunt and uncle find out you skipped family night to hang out in your room with a boy while they weren’t home :-O
Also, @other readers, just imagine Spider King sitting Uncle Bryan down to ask for his blessing (not permission because we’re a little past that lol) before marrying Mizzi. Just imagining that scenario puts me in a good mood because it’s so frickin funny.
(Then a horrified Mizzi walks in on them and is like SPIDER KING NO GET OUT)
What a sit down that would be!
I think Umi Ciang is right, or another demon wants to get to the Spider King through through Mizzi.
